Red Army Standard 60 Grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) Ammo
Red Army Standard ammunition comes straight from the source – Russia, the same country your AK-74 rifle’s design originated from. This 5.45×39 ammo was recently manufactured and as such features non-corrosive Berdan primers, clean-burning propellant, and two key cost-reducing steel features.
Each cartridge in this case of ammo is decked out with a 60 grain FMJ. That’s going to offer standard ballistic performance and non-expanding terminal ballistics, which are precisely what shooting paper targets and empty cans call for. Notably, these bullets’ jackets are fortified with steel and are magnetic. Not all indoor ranges are going to allow them!
These rounds’ cases are also made of steel, making them significantly more economical than brass. They are no good for handloading, but you’ll appreciate the way their heat-resistant polymer coatings help to prevent jams during feeding and extraction.
Red Army Standard ammo is imported from Russia by Century International Arms, a Floridian company.
